Loxahatchee River Adventures
16450 Southeast Federal Highway ,
Hobe Sound,
Florida 33455
My family took this boatride up the loxahatchee river and loved it! The boat was clean and well maintained. The captain of the boat was very friendly and knowledgable about the wildlife we saw along the river. My 3 year old loved the animals, birds, and other wildlife we saw. The best part was seeing an alligator! It was about a 3 hour boatride, but we stopped at a little island that had a museum about Trapper Nelson. Overall, it was an inexpensive, fun adventure for the afternoon- good for kids and adults.

"Boat ride on river= FUN!"
This park was amazing. It had acres and acres of wildlife. I saw the signs saying you could camp there but we just went to go on the boatride down the river. There were 5 adults and 2 kids that were in our group. We got on the pontoon boat and the staff was very friendly. As we rode on the river the captain gave us all sorts of information about the wildlife we were seeing. We saw all sorts of birds, nests, and turtles and even an alligator! My 4 year old loved it!! After the boat ride we got off on an island and had a tour of Trapper NElsons land. He was a man who lived off the land. This was also very informative and they had many exhibits to look at. the tour guide was informative and new what she was talking about! Overall, it was a great kid friendly place that was inexpensive, fun and we learned a lot about the Florida wildlife

Lion Country Safari
2003 Lion Country Safari Road,
West Palm Beach,
Florida 33470
I recently went here with my kids and my cousins family. The first thing you do is ride in your car through the safari. You can see all kinds of animals right from your window! Some of the animals come right up to your car. (you cant open your windows or doors though!) After the hour ride through the safari , you park your car and there are TONS of activities and rides for kids to do. The small amusement park rides are included with admission so that was a nice surprise! For 1.00 or 2.00 you can also do activities like feeding girraffs, and birds and farm animals. The best was feeding the giraffes. It was soo amazing! My kids loved it but it was also very fun for all the adults as well. I would recomend this place to anyone in the area with kids or not . Def a kid friendly place! We will return again and the price was just right. If you go to their website you can print a coupon for admission.

Lyman Orchards

"Hayride, apples and fun!!"
My family goes here every fall. It is a tradition of ours. We take the kids- 9 months and 3 years. The 3 year old LOVES it and her favorite part is the hayride. You get to take a hayride out to the orchards. After you pick what specific variety you want, it brings you back. It is very scenic and the staff are friendly and helpful I needed some help about what apples to pick for applesauce and the staff were VERY knowledgable. I would also recomend picking up one of their apple pies and some cider.

We went to the city with our kids (toddlers) and we stopped by the empire state building to see the view from the top.. it was amazing. I was a little leery on the price, I didnt think it would be worth it, but once we got up there I was so happy that we splurged!
