"a good way to spend the afternoon"
this zoo is normally not too busy so the kids have a chance to spend time and really see the animals. There is also a nice play area and a carosel that they can ride. Also the petting zoo is a great attraction for the kids and there is a hand sanitizer station right outside of it for kids to clean their hands off after playing with the animals. Only real drawback is that there really are not any shows to see and a few more animals could help :)

"something for everyone!"
A must for those travelling with kids to Indianapolis, Indiana. It has a little bit of something for everyone! There is a hands-on area for kids to discover how things work. There is also an area that gives them a glimps into other parts of the world that they can explore. From time to time there are also travelling exibits and special things happening at the museum, so be sure to check ahead of time for new exibits :)

Indianapolis Zoo

one of the better zoos in the US. Tons of animals to see, and there are giraffe feedings as well at certain times. White river park is close by too. And if the kids get tired of seeing animals, there is a small play area for them to play in. There is also a train to ride as well.
