Akaka Falls State Park is so beautiful, its lush vegetation, beautiful flowers, vines, all different kinds of plants and trees... its a rainforest. Reminds me of the movie Fern Gully. There are two main waterfalls there but multiple little streams, rivers and waterfalls along the trail. Free parking, bathrooms, no admission but a little drive up the hill. Love it.

Love the lady in the gift shop, she came out and sanitized the kiddie cars for me when i had my hands full! The animals look happy and healthy and there are a wide variety of them! There are also multiple places to sit and spread out a blanket and have a picnic so pack some food and drinks. Many wonderful trips, and many more to come definitely.
