A great place to catch a ball game. Took our 8 month old last night and she loved it. They have lots of great promotions (last night we got in free @ Christmas in July with our santa hats). Besides lots of saving options they have games for the kids played between innings, a playground in the stadium just for young kids, and a picnic area in the outfield. We love going to the ball game.

This mall has a great selection for mom or dad, but great selection of kid stuff too! With two areas for toddler play and a carosel, shopping and playing are a day of fun and enjoyment. There is a large food court as well, with some good choices for kids (not all fried foods and burgers).

We really enjoyed the brevard zoo. I went as a child with my grandmother and now took my 8 month old daughter. It was sweltering hot but she enjoyed the butterfly area and the birds. We also enjoyed seeing the giraffes and feeding them. This is a small compact zoo, but still a great and enjoyable day.

We visited the catawba science center with our 5 month old daughter and had a blast. She enjoyed the aquarium and there was a room in the science center designed for toddler play. She enjoyed crawling around in there, but we will definitely be back for more when she is walking. I see us getting a membership here as a local, fun, family outing.
