"The scenery is beautiful"
The scenery along the coast line is beautiful & there are lots of nice photo opps here. The actual blowhole is not that spectacular, unless you have never seen rocky shorelines at the ocean before. Good for a 10 minute drive-by during a visit to Hanauma Bay.

"Do the Dolphin encounter"
I went here with my 3 & 7 year old daughters. We did the Dolphin encounter & it was awesome! We got to meet 2 different dolphins, pet them, kiss them & hold hands with them. It was a lot of fun & a very memorable experience for my family. The $99.00 price was worth it, since the admission is also included. You will need to purchase their photos of the Dolphin encounter as they do not let you bring your own camera, but that was also worth it in my opinion. The rest of the park is very small, so it would probably be a disappointment if we hadnt done the Dolphins. There is a large Sea turtle pool where you can feed them, sea lions, dolphins, penguins, monk seals & a large reef exhibit with sharks, manta rays & lots of fish as well. The views are also very beautiful, the shows are entertaining & the food was decent. Good fun for a half day trip.

International Market Place

"Fun place to get souvenirs"
I walked around the International Marketplace for a few hours & had a great evening of souvenir shopping. Lots of deals on cheap jewelry, clothing & tchotchke. Not for the high end shopper, but fun for the average tourist. I went with my young daughter at sunset & we had a good time together. The second time I went there was a little later at night & it did seem to get a little shady as there was some 'adult' business going on the streets .

"Fantastic!"
I had read about this place, so I took my wife & kids here as soon as we arrived in Honolulu. This place was fantastic! They loved it & we ended up going here every day of our vacation. The shaved ice is huge! Reasonable price, great quality & not too crowded. They are closed Mondays.

"Better off at Hanauma bay"
I made reservations in advance to take my kids on the submarine in order to ensure they got to see some real sealife. Well as it turned out, I saw sea turtles from my hotel room & just as many fish at Hanauma bay the day before. By the time we took the submarine, there really wasnt anything we hadnt seen already. The boat ride out to the sub was really nice & the experience of going on an adventure with the family was fun. The actual submarine ride was nothing special, even though we did see several sea turtles, a small shark & lots of fish. It was definitely a tourist trap & if the kids dont already have their heart set on it, I would pass.
