My son has been talking about getting to drive the bus for 6 months now! We spent the day there on our last trip to Philadelphia and had so much fun. There is lots of free parking and we brought a picnic lunch to share in the park that is on the grounds. My kids 2 & 4 our to little to really get in to all the arts and experiments but the transportation area (were my 2 year old got to drive a bus) is great fun! My 4 year olds favorite part is the basement were they have a hospital set up were she got to play doctor.

The Philadelphia Zoo
3400 West Girard Avenue,
Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania 19104
They have the bast carrousel of any zoo we have been too. It looks like a forest with all kinds of woodland creatures hiding in it! The only issues is we stopped at some picnic tables right by it to eat lunch and were attacked by ducks they were so noise and stinky and one tried to nip at the kids lunch. A second one bite our stroller and actually made a small hole in the seat!

Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark

We have gotten sessions passes for the last 2 years! Thats how much fun it is! We usually go late in the day to avoid the harsh texas sun. The lines move pretty fast except on weekends (evan during the summer). The water and grounds are kept very clean, evan after rains or storms. There are a lot of life guards and staff. And there is so much room on the lazy river we have never felt crowded by other guests.

Galveston - Rainforest Cafe

It's so fun! It's the only Rainforest that has a ride! The River Adventure ride takes about 10 min to get all the way throw. You ride in a round boat (6 at a time) throw the different rain forests of the world and see all kinds of amazing animals along the way. My kids love it (age 2 & 4). The food is great. And they have a Build A Bear in side there store! We will definitely be going back many times.
