Lake Pueblo State Park
640 Pueblo Reservoir Road ,
Pueblo,
Colorado
Offers tons of sunshine and warm weather. Great boating opportunities. Great lake for jet skis. Fishing is not the best due to all the boat activity. Bird watching is usually very rewarding with lots of eagles, migrating pelicans can be around as well.

Yellowstone Lake
Yellowstone Lake,
(Hwy 20),
Yellowstone National Park,
Wyoming
The lake offers the chance to catch huge cutthroat trout. Solitude can be found among the backcountry campsites. A kayak trip along the east shore takes you to the southeast arm and inlet of they ellowstone river. Hiking is accessible along the shore as well.

Teton County Library - Jackson Hole
125 Virginian Lane ,
Jackson,
Wyoming
I actually live in Idaho but visit Teton County Library on a regular basis because it's such a great library. The kids section is wonderful. They have a large selection of pictures books and early readers as well as fiction for older kids and nonfiction on numerous topics. Is yor child really into a certain subject such as bugs or farm animals? There a bags available filled with 10 picture books on the subject so your child can read about his favorite bug to his hearts content. They also have computer access for older kids and a room with educational toys for younger kids.
The library also has great selection of adult literature as well. And the library also holds special nights for art viewing and literature groups for all ages.

Boiling River Swimming Hole
Park entrance road ,
between Gardiner River & Mammoth Hot Springs,
Yellowstone National Park,
Wyoming 82190
"Fun family spot for a warm dip in the river"
We've been visiting YNP as a family for years now and just recently discovered the Boiling River Swimming Hole! How I wish we had discovered it sooner! You'll park your car in a small parking lot and take a short easy hike to the river. Keep your eyes open along the way and you'll see varying types of waterfowl nesting along the shore. You will also see numerous elk grazing along the hillsides. We even saw some cow elk cross the river while we were lazily dipping in the river. This isn't really a great spot for swimming but more for taking a dip in nature's hot tub! And the water really is warm which is nice for kids!
