Utah
"Delicious and educational too!"
We took a preschool tour of the candy factory and everyone loved it. You must sign up in advance for tours, so call ahead. We got to sample the delicious treats as we learned about how they were made. The tour takes you on the factory floor so be prepared to control children and keep your hands to yourself to enjoy the yummy treats you get to sample.

"Amazing displays for a good cause"
The first weekend in December the Festival of Trees is a must see in Salt Lake. This festival is a fundraiser for Primary Children's Medical Center and features full size, medium and small trees, along with wreaths, table decorations, entertainment, food, and crafts for sale. It is an amazing festival to take the whole family to and to support a good cause.

Park City Mountain Ski Resort
1310 Lowell Ave,
Park City,
Utah 84060
We aren't big skiers, so I can't tell you how the slopes are, but I can tell you that the resort offers fun activities year round. There is always something to do, hiking, the alpine slide, zip lines, year round. It is beautiful at the resort in the summer and fall, so enjoy it all year round.

Willow Park Zoo
419 West 700 South,
Logan,
Utah 84321
This little Zoo is a great find for a small donation if you can't make it to Salt Lake for a real zoo. They have a wide variety of animals and birds for such a small zoo. The kids love to wander and look at all the animals. The zoo is in a great park with places for the kids to play and run.

Gateway Mall Fountains
400 South 200 West,
Salt Lake City,
Utah 84101
"Fun for the little ones"
A fun place to cool down on a hot summer day. These fountains are set to music and are enjoyable to watch and to run through if it is hot enough. Kids, young and old alike can enjoy taking a splash in these fountains after a trip to the Gateway for shopping or to hit the children's museum or planitarium. Be sure to throw some towels in the car for wet little ones if you are heading to Gateway because they won't be able to stay out of this fountain.
