Old Spaghetti Factory

"Great food, great prices!"
For about $10 per adult you can have a delicious all inclusive meal... we're talking fresh hot bread, salad, your entree of choice, a beverage, and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The atmosphere is great for families, very kid friendly but also a nice place for adults too. They have some neat trolley decor for photo opportunites as well. We got great service, although parking is a bit tricky in Gaslamp. :)

PETCO Ballpark
100 Park Boulevard,
San Diego,
California 92101
The padres aren't playing well this year, but the stadium is absolutely beautiful and so much fun. They have a great 5 for $5 deal, where you get a hot dog, a soda, peanuts, popcorn, and a cookie all for just $5. They have a nice lawn out behind center field for families to "park" on park on for cheap. There are activites for the kids as well, but cost extra $. We had a good time, although my 1 year old didn't sit still very well for the game... as expected.

Tin Fish

San Diego,

This place had nice atmosphere, but the food was pricey and nothing too special. In my opinion its not the most kid friendly place, although it is outdoor dining with a musician. There servers are scantilly clad college age bimbos running around with beer. Not something I want to expose my children too.

Candy Cane Inn
1747 South Harbor Blvd,
Anaheim, California
Candy Cane inn is reasonably priced, and very close to Disneyland. They offer a free shuttle that runs all day long too and from the park. This is fantastic as it saves you the $12 in parking that Disneyland charges. They have a beautiful pool area, which they serve a nice continental breakfast by each morning. You can also enjoy Disney's firework show from the balcony on the 2nd floor. This is one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Disneyland. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because I believe the Ayres is the best when it comes to where it stay in so cal. But if you want something right next to Disneyland this is a great place to stay.

SeaWorld San Diego
Sea World Drive,
San Diego,
California 92109
We love this place. It is the only other theme park that I feel is up to "disney standards" in terms of cleanliness and themed areas. It has lots for the kids to do, a good variety of sea life encounters mixed in with a few good rides. The bay of play is great for the little ones. Atlantis is very fun too, but warning... you get pretty wet. They have a great deal where you pay for 1 full price ticket for a day ($65) and can come back for the rest of the year. If you do this at the right time of the year, you can get a lot of use out of it.
