St. Louis Gateway Arch | kids travel, kids activities
St. Louis Gateway Arch
100 Washington Avenue,
Saint Louis,
Missouri
"The arch"
This is great place to visit not only for its beauty on the ground but also because of the things underground.Beneath the arch there is a museum chronicling early American history with fun and interesting exhibits. The exhibits are set up great to catch kids' interest, but are interesting for adults as well. Expect to wait in a long line in order to get inside. We had to bring a small chair for our 4 y.o. son and some toys for him to play while we waited in the line. After a great underground day you may try the nearby caffe for a yummy meal.

Jolly Roger Amusements | kids travel, kids activities
Jolly Roger Amusements
30 Street and Coastal Highway,
Ocean City,
Maryland 21842
"Great family Fun"
This large amusement park has something for all ages! You can bring your kids along after a sunny and hot day and enjoy the fun. Even the little ones will have fun. Make sure you bring more money for the ride tickets cause everybody would love to try it all. We enjoyed every minute even with our 4 y.o. son. I would suggest bringing your own lunch so you don't have to run and look for food.

Stone Mountain Park | kids travel, kids activities
Stone Mountain Park
1000 Robert E. Lee Drive,
Stone Mountain,
Georgia
"Stone mountain"
Stone Mountain Park is a must see family destination, just outside of the bustling city of Atlanta. The laser show is awesome, and the park itself is an oasis of nature in a large metro area.
It's the best family value around, see the laser show and enjoy the park all for $7 parking fee! Don't even bother buying attraction tickets, the park has more than enough to do for free. "Climbing" the mountain is easy and rewarding, bring water, and allow a couple hours for the round trip walk to the top and down. And of cause bring your food with you cause you don't want to go around looking for food.

Be sure to see the laser show, and if you want to do an attraction, see the antique museum, even the kids will enjoy it!

this is a beautiful and fun place. Plan to spend there whole day because you can really enjoy the beauty of the nature and the time with your family in the nature. it would be good to take lunch and eat it in the heart of the nature, where kids can play and see the beautiful big butterflies. Don't forget also to visit another beautiful place nearby The Wild Safari.

Tennessee Aquarium | kids travel, kids activities
Tennessee Aquarium
One Broad Street,
Chattanooga,
Tennessee 37402
"aquarium"
We love this place. Not only it is located on the river with a beautiful outside scenes but also inside it is a wonderful aqua park full of life and creatures you will not need a lot of time to see everything so plan something else to see in the neighborhood. We had our4 y.o. son so the aquarium was more then enough, plus after we went for Ben&Jerry's ice cream shop located just on the corner. And this was just wonderful.
