My kids who are definitely from the lego generation loved the park. Me - not so much. I thought it was overpriced for what you get to see and do compared to other San Diego destinations. The coolest things were the kids getting to drive little cars around a mini-city, the lego structures were amazing to look at. The couple of times we've been there, the lines for the rides were very long which was hard on the littlest in our group. Did a school field trip there also which was pretty chaotic.

If you visit San Diego, you MUST go to Seaworld. This is an incredible place to take the family - great, entertaining and educational shows. Lots of wonderful exhibits. San Diego's great weather makes this a terrific place year-round. Typically expensive food, but the chance for kids to see killer whales and dolphins and to feed sea life.... what a great family trip for making memories. We love it!

The San Diego Zoo really is one of the best zoos in the world! My family has been coming here yearly since I was a child. The zoo is constantly growing and changing. The many different exhibits are amazing. Lots of walking, though to see everything. With little ones in tow, you may want to spend more than a day here. Some of the exhibits are an easy walk to get to, but the return trip is uphill and pretty tiring unless you're in great shape or go very slowly. Food is expensive. Excellent gift shops. Wonderful animal shows. Highly recommend!!
