Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine Tour | kids travel, kids activities
Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine Tour
9388 Hwy 67,
Cripple Creek,
Colorado 80813
"Fun!"
This is a must do if you are interested in Colorado's history. One of the few mines left that you can tour, this one is truely unique. First you ride a mine shaft down about 1000ft...I think. It's facinating to learn all about the gold that came out of the Colorado hills. The guide is the best! I highly recommend taking this tour.

Cave of the Winds | kids travel, kids activities
Cave of the Winds
100 Cave of the Winds Road,
Manitou Springs,
Colorado 80829
"Very Interesting"
The Cave of the Winds has many different tours for the whole family. The guides are great and very informative. I suggest you bring a coat or sweatshirt as it does get chilly in there. They have a great gift store as well. You can even buy rocks like the ones you see in the caves.

Pike's Peak | kids travel, kids activities
Pike's Peak
Pikes Peak Highway,
Colorado Springs,
Colorado 80901
"Bring your coat!"
No matter what time of year you go to the top of Pikes Peak...remember to bring a coat. It is always chilly on the peak. The train ride is a great way to go when you have kids. The views are out of the world! You might even get lucky and see the Big Horn Sheep. Like I said, it's cold but the hot chocolate at the top makes up for it!

Seven Falls
2850 S. Cheyenne Canyon Road,
Colorado Springs,
Colorado 80906
"Must see at night!"
This is a wonderful place no matter what but at night it's AMAZING! The falls light up and it's spectacular to watch. The authentic Indian dancers are wonderful as well. Fun entertainment for the whole family. You won't find something like this anywhere else in Colorado.

"Unique zoo that's a must see!"
This zoo is located on the mountain which not only makes it unique but it also boasts wonderful views of the city. The giraffe area is the favorite by far! Not only can you get up close to them but you can feed them as well. There is something for everyone!
