For your review of: Safari West

For your review of: Walt Disney Family Museum
This was an insightful and wonderfully detailed review!  We are Huge Disney fans and couldn't wait to go to this museum, but your cautions about age limits (we have 2 under the age of 6) has made us change our plans - we won't attempt the visit with the toddlers!  Thank you so much for the warning!

Fantastic review!  What a different take.  That's why I love it that we get so many different takes on the same place.

Tips / suggestions when visiting Rome ?

You said:

"I went to Rome last August with my children. Such a beautiful city. Do not forget a stroller for your 2 year old son. People say that you can walk everywhere in Rome but with children, it is more challenging. Beware of the pickpockets.
Visit the Pizzia di Malta: it is far but check the view from the keyhole, the view you see from there was my children's favorite thing.
Close to the Pantheon, check the Palmas ice cream place: they have 100 ice creams flavors.
Children will be mesmorized by the Colisseum. Take a guided tour. Foro romano is more difficult to understand: I bought them a book in which you could see a picture of the monuments before and after, that helped them better realize what they were seeing.
I also took them to a crypt decorated with skeletons: they were fascinated.
My children adored Rome, my 6 years old keeps talking about going back there.
Email me at travelismorefunwithkids@gmail.com and I can send you a couple of photos.

For your review of: Hakone Gardens
Wow, that’s a fabulous photo! It’s not the camera, it’s your mad skills.

Love this picture of the turtle at Hakone Gardens.  Thansk for sharing it.

laundry and such during car trips with kids

You said:

"Hi,

Lots of hotels have a washer and dryer room. Just ask when you make the reservation. When you are in SF, rent an apartment or home via www.vrbo.com and you will have access to a washer/dryer (and full kitchen)

Hope that helps.
