"everything we were hoping for"
Our son's soccer team was playing in the Disney showcase, and since the team hotel at Disney was a bit pricey, we decided to stay somewhere more in line with our budget. I spent several hours online trying to find a decent hotel. We decided to go with the Seralago, even though a few of the reviews weren't that promising. Upon our arrival, though, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and our room was large enough to comfortably accommodate our family of 5 (including 3 children age 17 and older). Although I had reserved only a "standard" room, we were again surprised to find our room in the inner courtyard, facing the pool. The room was clean and in order. As part of a soccer tourney, we were glad that the hotel offered guest laundry facilities. One morning I had wet soccer socks and a jersey, and realized I didn't have time to use the pre-set dryers. One of the staff saw me carrying the clothes and asked how she could help. Within minutes she had taken them to the main hotel laundry where they popped them into the industrial-size unit and returned them to me dry and ready to go. We ate breakfast in our room, taking advantage of the small refrigerator. When we needed extra spoons and knives, the lady in the food court helped us out. Our boys enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and we only wish we could have had time for the beach volleyball and tennis courts. The hotel was in a perfect location for us -- only a few minutes drive to the Disney Wide World of Sports and other parks. It is located on a main highway with endless restaurants, gift shops, and whatever else you might need. We saved a lot of money by staying at the Seralago. Of course, it's not a 5-star hotel, but it was clean and nice and everything we were hoping for during our stay. We would definitely stay there again.
