Ikea - Portland
10280 North East Cascades Parkway,
Portland,
Oregon
We love ikea! It does take a few hrs to walk thru though. You can leave your kid in the childcare if they are potty trained and around three i think and up... This store has such great prices and is a streamline style... They specialize in helping utilize small spaces! Love their candles, kitchen ware, and lighting!

"awesome fun place for kids"
This place is a nice place for kids two to 12 i would say. It's geared towards that age range. When you first go in there is a cool mini store with shelfs of food, carts and a checkout area... Then upstaris is some fun rooms with learning fun. Outside is a huge wooden playstructure with climbing and slides, swings, sand... There is also a few picnic tables too, They always have diferent days of crafts or themes for kids going on... It's right next to the river front park which is free. The park has a big nice play place, a carosel (indoors) and a nice area for walking...

We have been here and the food is excellent.. The decor is so great too.. chandeliers and quaint lighting. On the weekends this place always has a line to wait for a seat. It's very popular! I feel it's well worth the wait. We have gotten a few different breakfast meals and all were delicious! I even got my parents a gift cirtificate to there for babysitting for us.

Tulip Festival - Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm (Seasonal)
33814 S. Meridian Rd.,
Woodburn,
Oregon 97071
We try to go every year. It's pretty packed on weekends but that is when they have all the kids activities going and open. During the week they have just some of the kids activities open. One is a cow ride in these barrels that is fun but sortof scary and sometimes dirty too, just a litte warning. Also bring your umbrella and rain boots are a must! It's awesome to go walk around the tulip fields and take pictures. they have outhouses for restrooms and a few small hotdog and food stands. A nice gift shop, tulips for purchase, cut and bulbs.

Sisters Rodeo
220 West Cascade Avenue,
Sisters Rodeo Association,
Sisters,
Oregon 97759
I have been to this rodeo a few times over the years. I went two years ago and it was nice. It's not as big as the St. Paul one. I remember wishing i had some padding for my seat:) They had a booth where you buy chips for beer... Was the typical rodeo experience.. It's kindof easy to miss on the road so follow the directions closely.
