Explore downtown Denver with your kids by foot on this 16 block-long pedestrian mall. You'll find shops, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and public art right on the Mall.
And if you venture a block or two off the Mall, you'll see the State Capitol, the City and County Building, the Denver Center for Performing Arts, Coors Field (Colorado Rockies), and LoDo (Lower Downtown).
The free mall shuttle is also available and stops at every block frequently. It is stroller-friendly.
Great way to pass a sunny afternoon, which are plentiful in Denver.

Kids from 9 months to 9 years will have fun climbing on the clever breakfast items in this huge indoor playground while their parents take a shopping break.
Slide down the strips of bacon. Hop on the strawberries and the fried eggs. Jump all over the huge bowl of shredded wheat with milk and blueberries.
And don't forget the pancakes and waffles!
Nice place for grownups to recharge and for kids to get the wiggles out.

The kids put on a harness and then get 90 minutes to swing from jungle platform to jungle platform, to climb rock walls, and to scamper through jungle trees. Parents have access to free wifi, and toddlers have a smaller area away from the big-kid activity.
Oh, grownups can harness up, too!

Yummy sopaipillas for dessert? Check.
Big gorilla running around to live mariachi music? Check.
Delicious Mexican food? Hmmmm....
The food is passable but not excellent. However, people flock to Casa Bonita by the bus- and car-loads for the ambience. It's loud, it's garish, it's unique, and kids love it. School-age kids, anyway. Toddlers may be scared by the gorilla, if my children were any indication.
