"Nice and Next to the River"
With family living near this park, I visit often and rarely stop to fully appreciate the beauty. The park is right near the Tennessee River and is great for camping, I believe there is even a boy scout camp nearby. The towns are small and picturesque with just enough civilization to ensure a hot meal and gas if you need it.

"A step back in time"
Natchez Trace is a step back in time. Entering the parkway is like going back into a time of horse and buggy when the land was let to grow in its natural state and subdivisions weren't popping up on every corner. Peaceful and serene, it's great for camping, hiking (walking), or a Sunday picnic and drive.

"Beauty Personified"
What more is there to say? The mountains are beautiful, the streams are clear and cold, the animals and the flowers are wild and in their (mostly) natural habitats. The park is great for a drive, a hike, a picnic, or any other kind of visit you can think of. Especially wonderful for those who have never seen mountains!

"Surprisingly Not Bad"
I was forced to visit here kicking and screaming, well not really, it was more like pouting and complaining, but honestly, it was not all that bad. For a non-history buff like myself, it was even borderline enjoyable. The kids loved the park and I would definitely go back for them!

"Taken for Granted"
I grew up near Reelfoot and have always taken it for granted. Now, living far away, it's somewhere I'd like to take my children to experience the culture of the area and to teach them the story behind the development of the lake. There are some great restaurants on the lake, if you like fried catfish and hushpuppies!
