"Great Christmas Activity!"
One of our family's favorite Christmas traditions is the Polar Express. Our kids love wearing their pajamas--the whole thing is pretty magical through their eyes. Best advice if you want to go and need a specific day/time is to get your tickets early in the season as they do sell out of the most popular times pretty quickly.

Pizza Hut Park Stadium
6000 West Main Street,
Frisco,
Texas
Our boys have long been fans of going to Rangers games, but now that we live in McKinney, we decided to try out a Rough Riders game to get their baseball fix. It is so great to have a team closer to home--we had so much fun! They loved the all you can eat hot dogs/drinks that came with our tickets and they LOVED that they were sitting so close to the action of the game (in comparison to the much larger Rangers stadium.) We will definitely go back again and again!

Ray Roberts Lake State Park

Denton,

We went to Lake Ray Roberts with a bunch of other families with young children and had so much fun! We had a great time swimming and having dinner/smores on the beach. I never would have guessed there would be so many great lakes in the north Dallas area, but we were pleasantly surprised and had a really great time!

Grapevine Mills Mall
3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway,
Grapevine,
Texas 76051
This mall is huge. We love living so close to so many outlets. My kids love to carousel in the food court and I found out if you sign up for their birthday club, they mail you a card for a free carousel ride for you and 10 friends. Our favorite part of the mall is Rainforest Cafe--it's a little pricey for the food quality, but the volcano dessert is really fun for the kids.

Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine
100 Great Wolf Dr,
Grapevine, Texas
We staying just one night at the Great Wolf Lodge and our boys absolutely loved it. The indoor water park was tons of fun and kept them entertained for hours. We had Dad run out and bring in pizza to eat in the hotel room for dinner to save $ and that worked out really well. Our boys are young enough that they thought the nightly story time was really fun. They also loved the wand game and I thought it was great that so many of the clues were on the staircases so they had to get exercise running up and down (and kept the elevators free for hotel guests.) We can't wait to go back again!
