Brackenridge Park
3700 N Saint Marys St,
San Antonio,
Texas 78209
This park was renovated and cleaned up by the city within the past couple of yrs. It's one of San Antonio's largest parks. There are several areas for kids to play on new playground equipment, walking trails, a creek, a train that you can ride (you get on near the zoo entrance). Pavilions and picnic tables. A golf area and much more. Don't miss out on this spot when you visit San Antonio.

Marriott San Antonio Rivercenter
101 Bowie St,
San Antonio, Texas
We stayed here this past summer and enjoyed every minute of it. The views are spectacular and the staff very friendly. The hotel is very accomodating. My family was comfortable during our stay and it was clean. Parking is a bit expensive but your car is safe in the parking garage. Easily accessible from the freeway.

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch
Abbott,
Texas
My husband and I did this before we had kids but I would take my kids at any age to drive through the wildlife ranch. When you pay to enter you get a small amount of food you can feed the animals. They are so used to being fed they come very close to your vehicle. The best part is you aren't walking around in the heat.

River Walk
E. Commerce St.,
San Antonio,
Texas 78205
I loved this activity with the family. It was inexpensive and you get a discount if you have a TX driver's license. I think the best times to tour the Riverwalk are at night to see it with the lights on or during Christmas time to see all the Christmas lights. They even have boats that serve dinner.

Kiddie Park
3015 Broadway Street,
San Antonio,
Texas
This kiddie park is old and every time I have driven past it (I lived there for 5 yrs) there was no one there. You wouldn't think the city would keep something open that wasn't safe but my 29 yr old husband said it looks like the same equipment used when he was a kid and visited the park.
