We went to to Walter Graham Aquatics Center in Vacaville, CA for a birthday party for one of the members of our Brownie troop. This facility was wonderful for adults and kids alike. There were : Two 35 ft waterslides, Children's activity area, Two low diving boards, One high dive, 25 yrd lap lanes, with diving blocks, a BBQ area, and you could rent out one of the birthday areas. The place was very clean and lots of grass areas to lounge with the family. You were able to bring in your own food and drinks too. $4.50 for kids and $5.50 for adults. The only draw back is it is only open from 1pm to 5pm. We loved it and plan on going back.

What for could you ask for.....Wicked is just fabulous!!!! The performance and costumes are just spectacular. I saw this with adults the first time about 9 months ago and it was good, but when you bring a child to a performance and she sits up straight and is clapping after every song, it just melts your heart. The Orpheum theatre is beautiful inside and is so ornate. Alexis (7) was so excited. We received 50% off of our tickets from and discount code, so we were able to get two tickets from $100 instead of paying $100 each. I would check out www . goldstar. com for discount tickets. For the child, they have booster wedges to they are able to see between the adult heads. We sat Mezzanine and it was perfect. Take the kids and enjoy. The show is long so make sure they are able to sit still and also remember to rush for the restrooms at intermission, but there is alway a long line for the womens restroom (try downstairs).

We have been to this ceramic shop a couple of times including have my daughter's 7th birthday party there with 12 girls. The owner, Stephanie Bellamy, is incredible and very nice. She was so patient with all of our girls and taught them a lot about color, etc. The shop is also very nice and in old town Vacaville. The turn-around-time to pick up the pottery is one week. Lots of room and decorated very nice.

Fantastic Weekend of Fun!!!!! Check on the thrift stores or buy costume after Halloween and dress up. It is half the fun. So much to do. Grab that turkey leg and sit for a few minutes and watch the parade go by. Music and craftmenship is amazing. My daughter loved the pirate ship bouncer and climbing up the coconut tree. Bring some money for the goodies to purchase. Parking can be challenging across the street, but it is well work it. They even have ships sailing and shooting cannons. Great fun for all.
