"Tradtions never Change"
I grew up going to SDC and kept the tradition with my kids. They love to just go and spend the day playing in the park. There are so many things for families to see and do. I recommend Marvel Cave for families with older kids. My family LOVES the Christmas Celebration and look forward to it every year.

"Best ride in town"
My kids LOVE the cable cars. That is all my Littles (4year old twins) wanted to do. My older kids loved it as well. They loved just riding around town seeing the buildings and waving at people on the sidewalks. The cable cars are a must for anyone visiting the San Francisco area.

"Cool for the kids... not the wallet"
We only wandered into Rainforest Cafe because of the HUGE sign that said KIDS MEALS 2.99 WED. With 4 of 5 kids still able to eat off of the kids menu we decided it was a great time to finally take them inside.
The food was generic... nothing special and was not very good for the price. The atmospere was amazing which is what you are paying for with the prices of the food. Unless you are going on a Kids eat cheap night it is an amazing waste of money on dinner.

"Lots of walking... not for little ones"
I love Alcatraz! I have been a couple of times. My older kids love it as well. My littles (4 year old twins) could not do it. Between walking the wharf and hitting the Rock it was WAY TO MUCH!
I recommend this tour for anyone over 7 that is interested in it. My kids saw Alcatraz on The Othersiders and have been obsessed since. Worth the time and money, wear comfy shoes :)

"We could have spent all day here..."
Took the kids(4-16) today. We only allowed ourselves 2 hours which was enough time to do everything but we could have spent ALL DAY. It was very educational and all of us learned something :)
Make sure you plan on spending more than a couple of hours, so worth the money spent!
