This family friendly water park has awesome attractions that include a large wave pool, interactive water play area, kiddie pool and gentle flowing lazy river. For more excitement, Summer Waves has the Pirate's Passage tube ride, Nature's Revenge body slides and Force 3 enclosed, single or double rider water tube slides. Jekyll Island Golf
322 Capt Wylly Rd,
Jekyll Island,
Georgia 31527
"Family Friendly Golf on Jekyll Island"
Jekyll Island has been a golf destination since 1898, when Jekyll Island Club members added the first course on the island near the present-day airport.
Today, Jekyll Island boasts 63 holes of golf on three 18-hole courses and one 9-hole course, earning Jekyll Island the bragging rights as Georgia's largest public golf resort.
During course design for one of its courses, Pine Lakes, Clyde Johnston incorporated "Family Friendly" tee boxes, making this the only course in America that allows players of all ages to compete evenly. Pine Lakes and Jekyll Island are the official hosts for the annual US Kids Golf Jekyll Island Cup.

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center
214 Stable Rd,
Jekyll Island,
Georgia 31527
"The Georgia Sea Turtle Center"
The Georgia Sea Turtle Center staff is amazing! They rehabilitate sick, injured, and immature sea turtles. The center has a wonderful display area that teaches about the life cycle of the turtles and how we can help them. The center is in a restored power station, and also has a rehab area with tanks for the turtles. The staff's hourly programs includes information on how they are treating the turtles, feeding them, etc. You can even sign up for walks in the summer or early fall to try to see a turtle nesting hatchlings going to sea! A must see on Jekyll Island!
