"Pricey but fun"
We usually visit Worlds of Fun at least once a year. We LOVE the shows and they have a great assortment of rides. The kids area is our favorite and provides lots of entertainment for the little ones. Their fireworks display during the summer is great. We just wish it was a little less expensive so we could visit more often!

"Great family fun"
We just visited over the summer and had a great time. We loved the artisans doing their work (wish there were more) and the kids absolutely loved the water and foam ball areas. There was also a great assortment of rides for all ages and a great selection of food and goodies!

This one is quite pricey but fun.

"Love it"
We love this zoo. We have been there twice.and will definately return! Such a nice compact zoo that has SO much to see and do. The orangatan is always the favorite of our family but we enjoy all the animals and attractions. We love how they designed the loin viewing area so that you can get pics of the kids with the lions up close. Definately a day long outing!

"Wow!"
We visited The Magic House on a spring break vacation with another family, between the two families we had six kids (ages 0-12). We spent the entire day there and could have spent a second! Every kid (and adult) found things they loved in every room. The grocery store, play pizza restaurant and electricity room stick out in my memory.

The price (especially with easily found coupons) was WELL worth it!

Swope Park | kids travel, kids activities
Swope Park
Swope Parkway and Meyer Blvd.,
Kansas City,
Missouri
"Pretty"
Swope Park is definately beautiful to drive through (to get to Kansas City Zoo) but we never stop to play, etc. Although we do often see others playing, fishing, etc. as we drive by. Unfortunately this area seems to be on the news quite often for one violent act or another happening there.
