"Breathtaking views"
Very worth going.. I have never had long lines, but then I usually visit in the winter. Even if you are afraid of heights this is definitely worth doing. You won't see the city like this from any other place! Since we have gone in the winter, it can be very chilly up at the top with the winds blowing, so wear a warm coat!

"Winter Wonderland"
If you are going to be in NY in the winter, definitely go ice skating, see the huge Christmas tree, the lights, ,decorations, etc! If you go in the summer, it's still a fun area, due to the studios there, great pizza and bagel shops, etc, but it's not as magical. Bundle up warmly and ice skate in the winter!

"Amazing"
The park is definitely huge, so get a map, particulary if you have small children. Plan out what you want to do if you have a lot of time... play some sports, catch a free Shakespeare show, see the zoo? If you just have a short time, drive in and take a little walk, eat some food from a vendor, gaze at art sculptures. All of the different areas deserve to be seen, but you can always visit another day or on another vacation!

"It's great and free"
A FREE ferry ride with a view of the Statue of Liberty? How can you beat that for fun and historic value? It's beautiful no matter the season, simply dress appropriately. Why would you pay for a tour when you can take this ferry? Absolutely do it, do it, do it!

"Prepare to walk"
It's definitely an interesting neighborhood, but there is quite a bit of walking from the subway. You will find all kinds of interesting food, souvenirs, toys, markets, etc. If you have small children this may not be the easiest or best choice, or be sure to bring a stroller or sling!
