The food court at Southcenter Mall has the requisite selection of restaurants and fast food joints, but whoever designed the area definitely had families in mind. There’s a small section for kids to eat, complete with small chairs and table. A brightly colored gem in Seattle that offers an array of delicious, constantly updated flavors that will satisfy appetites of any age. Not only is the ice cream out-of-this-world-awesome (I’m sure “galactic insane” is a flavor), but another draw is the phenomenal offering of vintage and recent pinball games, video games and works from local artists. Not only can I share a great scoop with my toddler, but I can also show him my awesome Super Mario Bros moves.

If you want to bring your children to a restaurant and still feel like an adult, this is the place to go. This Greek restaurant has great food and a fantastic wine selection so while the adults are sharing a plate of chicken souvlaki, the kids can entertain themselves in a very ample children’s play area.
