"Ponce Inlet = Fun for the Whole Family"
Kids and adults alike will relax and take in the delightful fishing village known as the Ponce Inlet. “Daytona’s Best Kept Secret”, the Inlet has activities for the whole family.

A narrated, two-hour Manatee Boat Tour will have you viewing the intracoastals waterways and exploring the nature and history of the area. Manatees, dolphins and birds can be spotted on the tour as the guide points out local history facts while gliding by waterfront homes in the protected wetlands.

Grab lunch at Lighthouse Landing Restaurant & Raw Bar, with its fresh seafood and relaxing view of the water on its large wrap around deck. Grab a picnic table outside and nibble gator or shark bites to start, and the try on the Bucket of the Bay as an entree. Filled with steamed clams, oysters, crab, shrimp, corn on the cob, new potatoes and sausage, your month will be watering in culinary delight. For desert, the Key Lime Pie is a local favorite, as well as the New York Cheesecake.

After an amazing meal, taking a stroll in Lighthouse Point Park on the boardwalk. Sign up for a guided nature walk, or get your feet wet by strolling in the surf. Climb to the top of Florida’s tallest lighthouse and get an honorary certificate signed by the program manager for climbing the 203 steps to the very top, where the breathtaking sight will give you a bird’s eye panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the untouched inlet. At 175 feet, the lighthouse was completed in 1887 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It continues to be a working beacon to this day, and over 125,000 visit every year.
