Center City Park

"Great community park!"
Center City Park is a great place to meet friends and start your evening or end the day with the kids. There is plenty of room to let the kids run around with a ball and plenty of seating for mom to relax. There is a great exercise series on Monday evenings, everything from African dance to yoga has been taught by the fountain.

Country Park
3905 Nathanael Green Dr. ,
Greensboro,
North Carolina 27455
"Beautiful Park"
Country Park is a beautiful park with lots of activites. There is a serene lake in the middle of the park that is filled with ducks and geese. In the summer, you rent a paddleboat for 30 minutes to explore the little area. There is a paved loop around the lake that is great for cycling or skating. For the runners, the loop is 1.6 miles and hilly. It is a great run!! The two playgrounds are well-maintained. With a bark park too, it is a place for the whole family.

Hanging Rock State Park
Hanging Rock Rd (SR2015),
Danbury,

"Great Trip!!"
Hanging Rock State Park is great day trip regardless of the ages of your group. For those who are not inticed to climb Hanging Rock for the beautiful scenic views, there are many short, easy trails that will bring you to beautiful little waterfalls. The beach is worth the couple fo dollars and perfect for the little ones in your group. Dogs are not allowed in the beach area.

The Little Gym
3369 Battleground Ave,
Greensboro,
North Carolina
"Love it!!"
We joined the Little Gym when I our son was eleven months. It was a fantastic experience. We watched his confidence and strength grow with every class. The staff was great. At our son's age level, it was a parent assisted class. Not only did it build our son's skills, the classes help to build our confidence as we assisted with forward rolls and swinging over bars. We have a rough and tumble little boy. Now he knows "how" to fall and not get hurt.

Greensboro,

"Tons of Fun..."
With the addition of the outdoor play area, the Children's Museum has everything that you need for kids ages 1-7. There is under two area with is heavily padded and filled with lots of activities for the really little ones. The theater with sound stage is great for your budding actor. The art center is always filled lots of supplies. Everything from glitter to feathers is available for your project. There is a life size police car, race car and fire truck. The snack machines have a few good choices. I would suggest bringing your own snacks.
