Silver Dollar City
3505 W Highway 76,
Branson,
Missouri
Silver Dollar City is not an amusement park my kids really enjoy. It has the feel of a small fair. Bigger and more crowded, of course. The rides are not very good and I would rather see crafts at real craft fair. It could be good, but it just isn't. I do hear that the lights at Christmas are beautiful.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney Animal Kingdom,

Lake Buena Vista,

Animal Kingdom is our favorite Disney park. There are characters everywhere. We really like the Lion King show. We love the safari ride. My eight year old and my husband love the Mt. Everst roller coaster. There's something for everyone here. I would also highly suggest going to visit the Lodge.

Six Flags Over Texas
2201 Road To Six Flags St E,
Arlington,
Texas 76011
I have to admit I was pleasantly suprised at Six Flags over Texas. The people were all very nice. It wasn't very crowded. If we wanted to ride something twice and there wasn't a line, they had no problem with it. It doesn't have the magic or characters from Disney, but it just might be more fun.

Mid-South Fair
940 Early Maxwell Boulevard,
Memphis,
Tennessee 38104
The fair is fine. There are lots of rides, food, and animals. We love all of the exhibits and animals. My main complaint is that it all costs too much. It should not cost a small fortune to take a family to the fair. My kids, of course, love every second of it.

National Civil Rights Museum
450 Mulberry Street ,
Memphis,
Tennessee 38103
I have lived close to Memphis my entire life, but never gone to the Civil Rights Museum until we had our exchange student from Switzerland ask to go. It is very impressive and takes you through the whole movement. It is very educational and I would not hestitate to take high schoolers. I probably would not bring my young children because it is not interactive and they would not get much out of it. Adults should definitely go.
