Our family loves the Chicago Bears and nothing says Bears like Soldier Field. Even after the rennovations, it is gorgeous. It is located next to Lake Michigan, The Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium. Chicago fans are friendly and helpful. I would bring my children here until November. Because it is an outdoor stadium, it is simply too cold for young kids. It used to be a national landmark but after rennovations, that status was taken away. Go here, if you can.

On most days, I love the Rainforest Cafe. Occasionally it can be annoying as it is ALWAYS crowded and there is always a waiting period. It is extremely noisey in there. The food is good but very expensive. That being said, it is a fun and memorable place to eat. Kids love all there is to see there and will not be bored.

I went here on a whim with two young kids and had a really nice time. It reminded me of when we used to have skating parties back in grade school. Kids like it but make sure they are somewhat coordinated because they won't like falling constantly.

My kids would eat here every day if they could. I don't mind it either. While the food is a little expensive the atmosphere makes up for it. I would take kids here over McDonalds or another fast food place. The mini mall it is in also have cute shops and the Beir Stube (for the adults to grab a beer)

The vehicle you're traveling in is awesome to begin with. It takes you through some beautiful areas and the guide points out some interesting things on the tour. It is a relaxing thing to do on any day. I have been when it has been hot out and cold out. There are less people when it is cold out and it is still beautiful but in a different way. Keep your eye out for bald eagles. Kids could get bored but the thrill of the ride should keep them interested.
