We stayed here last summer on a last minute trip to Disneyland. We had a blast! It is easy walking distance to the parks and we were able to carry our kids back on the nights they couldn't stay awake. The rooms were nothing special, but they were clean and quiet. On the last day before we left the kids just played on the two little water slides they had and even though the water was freezing they had a great time and it was a good way to release energy before the long drive home. I would definetely stay here again.

My kids love this zoo because they can see the whole thing in one day and not feel too overwhelmed. It's in a smaller area so the kids don't need to be in strollers and can explore on their own without me being worried about getting lost in the crowd. The small playground in the zoo allows them to have a break and just play when they're tired of the animals and there's a small train for a fun ride at the end of the day. THe enclosures aren't amazing, but aren't bad and it's a nice day out.

I love Jax on the Tracks! The food is amazing and it's all the food you crave, mac and cheese and great burgers and sandwiches. The milk shakes are amazing and could be a meal all in themselves! We sit outside so the kids can be a little noisier and they love to wave at the train as it goes by. This is a great place to eat during Truckee Thursdays in the summer...near the action, but not as busy as downtown!

My kids had never roller skated before, but this was the perfect place for them to learn! It was quiet and no big pushy people and no confusing lights to throw them off, I also didn't lose them in the dark! Just fresh clean air, some sun and some fun. There was a live band playing when we were there and we had an amazing pizza when the kids got tired. It was a great day out!

Every year we head to Bishops with our kids and every year they seem to enjoy it even more. The place can be packed on weekends, but it really doesn't matter how busy it gets as there is plenty of room for everyone! There are big slides that my kids will spend hours on, a petting zoo with friendly animals and at the end of the day you can pick up a pie to take home with you! It's a great way to get into the holiday spirit and the kids love it!
