Craighead Forest Park
4910 South Culberhouse Road,
Jonesboro,
Arkansas
We loved this park while we were in Jonesboro. There is not much to do in Jonesboro, but craighead is wonderful. Pavilion number 5 has a great water attraction for the kids and lots of ducks and geese to feed. There are lots of places to fish and wonderful sunsets over the lake. The entire thing is free and lots of tracks for walking, jogging, and hiking.

Halona Blowhole
7455 Kalanianaole Highway,
Honolulu,
Hawaii
The week we were in Hawaii the blowhole was closed due to maintenance. I am not sure if they were shooting a movie or not, but there was a large crew hanging out. We were still able to see the blowhole from a nearby parking lot. wonderful display of nature. We loved the entire east coast and all the east coast cliffs you pass on the drive.

Lake Winnepesaukah
Lakeview Drive,
Rossville,
Georgia 30741
We enjoy lake Winnie, but it has gotten pretty pricey now. It use to be pretty reasonable, but now prices have gone up but the park isnt getting any bigger. Its fun for the day and worth the trip for at least once but not like dollywood where you can do something different everytime you go. Pack your snacks and save some money.

Dauphin Island
109 Bienville Blvd,
Dauphin Island,
Alabama 36528
We love Dauphin Island. Gorgeous sand, lots of fun. Just bring a cooler and your dog and have fun. There are two fishing rodeos each year that offer fun for all. Gorgeous sunsets, not too crowded. It is a true island so driving over the bridges will remind you of driving to the florida keys. Lots of areas to seclude yourself from others. Worth the trip!!
