"Nice, but not after a hurricane"
We have been to Dauphin Island before and after a hurricane. Before was nice. Not many people, so the drive is nice. You have to drive over a really really long bridge so that is a little scary since I HATE bridges. We went to the estuary a few times and that is a great little free thing to go to. There really isn't much to do there, but the sun and sand are wonderful.

"Great "
This is a very woodsy hotel and water park. Nice place to play in the winter. The room we stayed in was nice a big. A few rooms and a kitchen area. People can just come to the water park to play, so it can get busy. But it is worth it in the winter. The price isn't the best I have seen. But it is good for the area.

"Nice price"
We booked this online and got a great deal. Nice, but small hot tub area and pool. Rooms were clean and adequately equipped. It had an iron and ironing board. I needed one because I was there for a wedding. I have no complaints. We slept good and so did the kids, so noise wasn't a problem.

"deep"
This was a fun once in a lifetime experience, but not something we will do again. The prices aren't too bad. You can't take a stroller. We took a 4 year old and a 2 year old. We brought a baby carrier just incase the 2 year old didn't want to walk. Sure enough she got scared right away. It is very deep and cold. But also interesting. Great field trip because you learn a lot about caves.

"Good on a cold day"
This center area of the mall of america has been other themes in the past, but the big rides don't change. This is a nice place to go and get some sunny fun. The rides are a little pricey and the lines can be long on the weekends in the winter. But it is a nice warm thing to do during the cold MN months.
