Great place to fish, camp, ski, wake board, float the river, wade the creek, jump from the tree. tube the rivers..Eat the good food...Look at the beautiful mountains. family and friends love it so much they just cant get outta there. Lots of wildlife...Watchout for the Mullets and the Bucks they are hairy jerrys...

I liked it and was able to get in some fun time in the pool and nice hot showers for my family. Statesville owns friendly folks and beautiful scenery & I would bring my family back here again. it was great.we went to cicis pizza.they provided us with shampoo and conditioner and soap.the rooms had micro waves and everything we needed for our wonderful stay at brook wood motel.
