Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
7th Avenue,
New York (Manhattan),
New York
"Better on TV, but See the Balloons the Night Before"
I've been to the parade a couple times and every time we end up going up to the hotel room so the kids can see better. It is super crowded so if you don't do well in crowds this is definitely not for you. They do a pre-show the night before where you can go see all the balloons get blown up and this is something the children totally love. Dress warm and be prepared to walk, but it is worth it.

"Great Educational Experience"
This is a great educational experience for older children. The younger ones enjoy the ride over, but they tend to not do very well with the tour and learning parts. I find this place wonderfully fascinating and definitely think that you should take your older children to experience this. It gives them a greater appreciation for their lives and situations and what others went through to get to America. A Great historical stop!

Grant's Farm Train and Petting Zoo
10501 Gravois Rd,
Saint Louis,
Missouri 63123
My kids were in heaven. Tons of hands on things. THe petting zoo is great. There are a ton of animals. Again, love St. Louis for all the free attractions. They offer some great food throughout the park. My children were in awe of the clydesdales. This place is super clean and the staff is friendly. This is such a great family friendly place. I would totally recommend this as a top ten stop in St. Louis.

St Louis Science Museum
5050 Oakland Ave,
Saint Louis,
Missouri 63110
This place is huge and can provide hours of entertainment. And best thing of all? It is 100% free! There are movies, activities and more. My children had a blast and even better? It was raining outside so provided great entertainment for the kids when there was nothing else to do. You can build your own web page, do hands on science experiments and more. The only downside? It was pretty crowded (maybe the weather?) so you had to wait a while to experience a lot of it.

St. Louis Gateway Arch
100 Washington Avenue,
Saint Louis,
Missouri
This is one of those must see's as a tourist, but it is just an arch. If you are claustrophobic the tiny pea pods you ride to the top of the arch in are a bit much. My two tips? Go early and buy tickets online. The Westward Expansion Museum isn't bad either. Definitely educational and the kids think it is cool. The Movie is great, much like an imax. If you are there, I wouldn't miss the movie or the museum.
