Byers’ Choice Ltd.
4355 County Line Road,
Chalfont,
Pennsylvania
We like to visit Byers choice around christmas time when everything is all dolled up and ready for Santa. This is also were we buy our reindeer food every year for santa's reindeer. They have a wonderful gift shop filled with all sorts of goodies. We also like to take a walk through santa's elf exhibit and we always make sure to stop by and try on a hat or two.

Peace Valley Park
170 Chapman Road,
Doylestown,
Pennsylvania
"Wonderful memory maker!"
As a child we spent hours upon hours on Peace Valley's Nature Trails. I remember doing their camps and spending entire summers here.
Now that I have a son we love going to explore in the nature center and then onto the trails. Just about every time we walk the trails we see deer, frogs, turtles, butterflies, and many birds. It is a wonderful way to have quality family time for free!

Giggleberry Fair
5750 Upper York Road,
Lahaska,
Pennsylvania
We had heard great things about Gigglebrry Fair, so we thought we would check it out. Boy were we disappointed. It started as soon as we walked in the door, the staff was miserable, they were so super unfriendly, we were treated as though it was a huge problem that we were there. Most of the games were broken, or were eating you tokens so that you couldn't play. And it was extremely dirty. I'm sure I don't need to say, but we did not stay very long and do not plan to go back.

Academy of Natural Sciences
Nineteenth Street and Ben Franklin Parkway,
Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania 19103
Our 5 year old son loved the Academy of Natural Sciences. He was the perfect age. He enjoyed the live animal show, with the snakes, birds, and other creatures. Then it was onto the millions of stuffed animals! He really enjoyed getting to see how big some of the animals actually are. The dinosaur hall was great, but we did arrive here a little bit to late in the day to be able to participate in the dino bone dig. We all really enjoyed the butterfly conservatory. It was a great way to spend an afternoon in philly!!

The Philadelphia Zoo
3400 West Girard Avenue,
Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania 19104
We have been to the zoo very many times! We started out taking our son as an infant and this year (he is now 5) we are zoo members. The membership paid for it's self in two visits. This zoo has lots to offer, but at times can seem to be to big to do in one day, another great reason for the membership. We love big cat falls, you can almost always get a great view of the amazing big cats. The primate house is another great area with tons of viewing options. My sons favorite place is the reptile house. With a huge variety of snakes, turtles, and alligators. It is a zoo that you need a full day to see everything or if you are able to take you time and go more than once there is plenty to see and do.
