"Pricey, but entertaining"
While a little on the expensive side, they do have activities for all ages. There is of course plenty of interesting things for the adults. But the kids liked the space capsules you could sit down in that were in the grounds surrounding the museum area, and of course these are great picture opp. As was the man roaming in the astronaut suite. I thought the bus trip out was well worth it - some interactive exhibits and huge displays. Plus we saw several alligators in the ponds along the route.

"Tour, Map room, Fountains"
There is a tour here, which I found quite interesting regarding the church founding and beliefs, but not really for younger children. However there is a map room at the end which is amazing and seemed to be keeping children of many ages engaged. The church occupies a rather large area and is surrounded by pools and fountains, which were also great for the kids especially on the hot day in July when we visited.

"Strolling characters from history"
Interesting stop in Boston. Inside the market there are the usual tourist stores and food vendors - nothing I thought was outstanding. Outside however we encountered several actors portraying historical figures. This was interesting for the adults and also entertaining for the kids. The man playing Ben Franklin the day we were there was quite good.

"Boat Rides"
This was a lot of fun. We went out to the islands and were able to get off for a time and do some walking/hiking, explore some of the old buildings, and visit the lighthouse. The boat ride itself was nice also. Be aware of the schedules for pickups so you don't get stuck on the island longer than expected. This can be a long day for little ones anyway. Definitely a fair weather activity, I don't think it would be that enjoyable on a rainy day.

"Great any time of year"
They have a kids area and activities specifically, but really the whole garden is a great place for kids to explore. I've gone with elementary age kids who loved running around and exploring all the nooks and crannies. We've also gone with my toddler who enjoyed the grassy areas and of course the koi pond. There is always something to see, and the weather is usually nice enough to make the trip enjoyable any time of year.
