Even if you do not like RC or Moon Pies (which we all do, right?), this is still a must see town!! Bell Buckle is a charming town with antique shops, the famous Bell Buckle Cafe and several other must-sees. It is a family friendly festival and a sweet treat!!

As a family, we LOVE the craft show!! It is always the middle of October...and we are always there!! There is something there for everyone!! The craft selection is enormous, the fair food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great!! Kid and dog friendly--be prepared to walk...but it is well worth it!!!

The Tennessee State Fair is good...during the daytime. The area is not known for its safety and there is nothing but trouble at night! During the day you can see the animals, ride rides, and get the best fair food. Overall for a family, I would advise to save your money and head to the Wilson County (TN) fair!

Fan Fair has been a part of Nashville for years and still brings in thousands. There are a lot of free activities for families during the weeks, as well as great nightly concerts with some of the hottest Nashville singers. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy!

The Dutch Village Inn is located within the Das Dutch Village. It offers an inn, shops and a great Amish restaurant!! The restaurant has fantastic baked goods within their restaurant lobby/ bakery. The inn is very quaint- not a lot to do for smaller kids, but for families- it is a great stay!
