"Great day out for the family"
This is a wonderful Museum that is appropriate for family members of all ages. With an aquarium, mummy and several interactive exhibits like a dino dig and Alexander Calder toys, there is something for everyone. Adults will like the selection of paintings from the Hudson River School and sculpture. While this Museum does not have tons of any one thing the articafts it offers for display are some of the best in the nation. The Museum itself does not have a cafe but it is located in the downtown section of Pittsfield where there are several restaurants. Parking can be found adjacent to the Colonial Theater two doors down as the Museum has no parking of it's own.
