Springville Camp and Conference Center
3886 Mountain View Rd,
Odenville,
Alabama
"Awesome Camp Experience"
Every year my church partners with another church and we rent Springville Camp and Conference Center's facilities. The facilities are very well maintained and there is plenty to do there. Some activities include nature hike, bonfire, canoeing, peddleboating, ziplines, and tons of other water activities. Their cafeteria also has very good camp food.

Great Pumpkin Patch
288 County Road 45,
Hayden,
Alabama 35079
"Priced Reasonbly and So Much Fun!"
Hayden's Pumpking Patch was terrific. We went on a Saturday close to Halloween and expected it to be packed out. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded! There is a ton to do. There are inflatables, hay rides, a pumpkin patch, and pony rides. Plus there is festival style food there. We hope t go again next year since we enjoyed it so much!

Uncle Bubba's Oyster House | kids travel, kids activities
Uncle Bubba's Oyster House
104 Bryan Woods Road,
Savannah,
Georgia 31410
"Relaxing Atmosphere"
If you like Paula Deen, you will LOVE her brother's restaurant, Uncle Bubba's Oyster House. Me and the DH ordered crab legs and they were beyond fabulous. I can honestly say it was the best I have ever had. They also have this shrimp dip they are known for and it is wonderful. This, along with Old Pink House are the two must eat places in Savannah.

Dave and Buster's
5900 Sugarloaf Pkwy,
Lawrenceville,
Georgia
"Food and Fun"
Dave and Buster's is a family friendly restaurant with TVs all over the place. If you have a sports fanatic for a hubby, he will love this place. There is also a HUGE arcade in the restaurant. You can order off of the Eat N Play menu and buy a meal that comes with $10 worth of play time. You get tokens when you play games and there is a prize shop there as well. It is great food and so much fun!

Ballastone Inn | kids travel, kids activities
Ballastone Inn
14 East Oglethorpe Avenue,
Savannah, Georgia
"Most Perfect Place I Have Ever Stayed"
Me and my hubby went on our honeymoon to Savannah and stayed at the Ballastone Inn. Our room was called Scarlett's Retreat. The B&B staff there is fabulous. They make all your reservations for you and treat you like royalty. Every night, you place a meal card outside of your room letting the chefs know what you would like for breakfast, where in the B&B you will be eating, and what time you want to eat at. You sit down at the time requested and the food magically comes out to you. There is a bar in the B&B along with cocktail and appetizers every afternoon. Also, there was a huge jetted tub in our room along with a TV and DVD (or video) player in the room with a library of movies to watch. It was expernsive, but worth it. If you do go, be sure and use the restroom next to the bar and see all the autograph photos from famous people who have stayed there. Two of them being Bill Cosby and Matt Damon!
