Cable Car Ride
Downtown San Francisco,
San Francisco,
California
"most memorable"
My boys most memorable experience in San Francisco was their ride on the cable cars. The first time I took them my youngest fell asleep so he didn't get to enjoy it but the oldest 4 loved it. They made all kinds of tourist friends while riding and loved the sounds. And if you need to get your little one to sleep while out and about the cable car may be a good option too!

"must see while in San Fran"
My boys and I always make a trip to Chinatown while we are in the city visiting my sister. My favorite place in China town is a little teashop where they do tea tastings everyday. The people behind the bar are passionate about tea and make it fun and informative. The kids also love taking pictures with all the statutes on the side of the road and looking at all the fun toys and fruite sitting out in the streets to sell.

Botanical Center
909 Robert D. Ray Drive,
Des Moines,
Iowa 50316
"fun afternoon "
We visited the botanical center when my son was less than a year old. It was more for something fun for mom and dad to do and get out of the house in the winter. It was a pretty place but certainly nothing extrememly exciting. We would go again if we had nothing better to do. All I really remember is the man at the door asked if I was under 12 (I was in my upper 20s!)

"A whole new world!"
We stopped by this place on our way home from Wisconsin dells it is not to far from there. The place is spectacular. It was a little pricey for off season $17 per person and you don't get to see the whole village but it was more than I knew it could be. Its like a whole little city built in the middle of the woods on a bluff. I would definately recommend visiting here in the summer rather than winter.

Great Wolf Lodge
1400 Great Wolf Drive,
Wisconsin Dells,

"Extended family fun"
We recently took a weekend trip to great wolf lodge with grandparents and all the cousins. It was such a great place for the whole family. We got a condo with multiple rooms so everyone could be happy and comfortable but all together. The water park was so much fun we had kids from 1 to 7 and adults all the way up to 72 going on the rides and LOVING it! There was also a story time in the lobby at 8 PM which the kids loved! Great way to calm the kiddos down and prepare them to sleep and get ready for the next day of fun at the waterpark.
