Geocaching
837 N 34th Street,
Seattle,
Washington
"Geocaching"
I just discovered this, and can't wait to try it with the kids. I immediately thought of trekaroo when I found out about it. It looks like it would be a lot of fun for the kids. I will update my review after we've had a chance to actually try it, but I wanted to share ASAP. It looks like there are more than 50 caches within 20 miles of our house, so I can't wait to go "treasure hunting"! Be sure to visit the website for more details https://www.geocaching.com/default.aspx

Comfort Inn Logan | kids travel, kids activities
Comfort Inn Logan
2002 S Hwy 89 And 91,
Logan, Utah
"Comfort Inn"
My husbands aunt comes to visit every year and she always stays at this Comfort Inn. Part of her reasoning is so that the kids can come swim at the pool. They have a small indoor pool and hot tub. They also park their trailer in addition to getting a room. They really seem to like the RV hook-ups/accommodations. The rooms are nice enough from what I've seen. And we haven't herd any complaints either.

Logan Aquatic Center
451 South 500 West,
Logan,
Utah
"Aquatic Center"
The Logan pool is a nice place in the Summer. It can get crowded, but somehow there's still room for everyone. They have 2 slides, kiddie pools, diving, and a 50 meter lap pool. The locker rooms are nice, sometimes its hard to get a locker though. They have life jackets for little ones. They also offer swimming lessons (you have to sign up for classes). It is outdoors though, so don't plan on going in the Winter.

Main Street
Main Street,
Logan,
Utah
"Main Street"
Main Street in Logan has a lot to offer. There are a variety of shops and restaurants. They do a parade of homes out of ginger bread houses at Christmas time and kids trick or treat for Halloween (around the old historic shops). There are several unique places like the Blue Bird and the tabernacle. There's also the famous Cache Valley cruise inn that takes place over the 4th of July weekend. And USU always has a big homecoming parade in the fall.

The Mayan
9400 S State Street,
THIS RESTAURANT IS NO LONGER OPEN,
Sandy,
Utah
"The Mayan"
My little boy LOVES the Mayan! Not necessarily the food, but the atmosphere. There is a huge waterfall inside the restaurant and the have shows every 1/2 hour or so... where performers cliff dive! It's wild! There is almost always a waiting list to get it, but it's worth it to see something like this. The food is OK, but it's a little over priced.
