"Great fun for kids"
We live in Deltona, and this is my favorite place to take my 4 yr old. I think it is better than any splash park around. The fact that it overlooks the ocean is definitely an added bonus. It is obvious that the city of Daytona put some money into this one, with colorful spray showers for the kids to run through, and a playgound to boot. There are a few shaded places for the grownups to sit,but not many. It gets quite hot if you are the parent and not going in the spray areas too. There were nice public bathrooms, that were actually clean. i loved the fact that when we were finished, we could simply walk down the stairs, and go right into the ocean.

"The little drummer boy"
I took my 4 yr old to see this show at the end of Nov, 2011. This was our first time here, and we were pretty excited to go. Most of the children were right around his age group. I was quite dissapointed, as it was I hate to say it, boring for the adults as well as the chldren. Halfway through the event, it was like a collective sigh, and seemingly at once, most of the children became fidgety, and many left their seats, or turned around in their seats, totally uninterested. The parents had a difficult time keeping them in their seats at this point, and about 4 parents left with their children altogether. I realize this is a biblical story, but was way over the childrens heads, the way it was told.
