"Childrens resale at its best!"
There's nothing better than scoring your kids clothes or toys at a discounted price... and even better is being able to consign your outgrown treasures. Mollywogs has new and gentle used items, stock changes frequently and we love searching through all the 'stuff' to find a cute shirt or much needed tap shoes. There is a 'kid corral' in the back where you can put your kids while you shop. They can enjoy tons of toys first hand. clean bathrooms too!

Bob Jones City to the Sea Trail | kids travel, kids activities
Bob Jones City to the Sea Trail
Ontario Road,
Avila Beach,
California
"love this path!"
My husband and children (in the stroller or bike trailer) frequent this trail almost weekly during the summer months. It's shaded most of the way, and strictly for pedestrians, no motor vehicles allowed! it's about 2.5 miles one way from the Ontario rd parking lot to the Avila beach, where you can enjoy great food/gift shops, the beach and a great playground. Bring water for the walk!

Barney Schwartz Park

Paso Robles,

"one of the nicest parks in the area"
Barney Schwartz Park is great for older and young kids, they have two playgrounds, an upper area and a lower area. They have a nice walking path, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and a small lake. there are a few picnic benches, but very little shade cover, so bring sunscreen and/or an umbrella. Dogs are not allowed at the park. The park also has great local events occasionally, like a kite fest and hosting the fireworks.

Lake Atascadero Park and Charles Paddock Zoo
Lago Avenue,
Atascadero,
California 93422
"A cute, but small zoo"
We love visiting the Charles Paddock zoo. My kids are 3 and 1enjoy seeing different animals, the 1 year old loves the goats! They just received a new beautiful young tiger. He's super cute! Over all, the zoo is pretty small, it can easily take 30 minutes to see everything, or you can spend a few hours watching all the critters. There is a great park and playground adjacent to the zoo, and a nice walking path around the lake, I think 1.1 miles long.
