Samoa Cookhouse | kids travel, kids activities
Samoa Cookhouse
601 Startare Dr,
Eureka,
California 95501
"Samoa Cookhouse food is delish!"
For a wonderful home cooked tasting meal, Samoa Cookhouse is the place to go. They have very tasty hot meals. They can be a little pricey, but the food is very good. With a very laid back style atmosphere, it is great for family get togethers. The bread they have is amazing!! When you're through eating, you can walk around the building in a separate area, and it is like being in a museum. There are all kinds of antique items big and small. It is a great experience for kids to learn about local history after eating a great meal.

Target
1280 Dana Dr,
Redding,
California
"Average Target Store."
I didn't notice anything special about this Target store. Not too many clearance items, but it may be due to the population of the city and the number of people that shop at this location. It is picked over when I go there. I usually just get some cheap finds like shampoo or a few sale dvd's when I am staying in town. It's just average.

Sweetness and Light
554 Main Street,
Ferndale,
California
"Best Truffles Around!"
I love making a stop at Ferndale's Sweetness & Light to pick up some chocolate truffles. They are delicious! I usually get a hot cocoa too! It's not the cheapest place, however the quality of chocolate is great and well worth your money. They make them right there. There are tons of candies to choose from and lots yummy treats. There are gift items including coffee cups and in honor of Ferndale, chocolate cows. It's a great place to stop along the streets of the Victorian Village.

M&M’s World | kids travel, kids activities
M&M’s World
3785 Las Vegas Blvd,
Las Vegas,
Nevada
"M&Ms World is SOO Fun!"
If it weren't for M&M World I would probably never go back to Las Vegas. I didn't enjoy the town until I visited M&M World. It was completely family-oriented and we all enjoyed it. There are multiple floors of merchandise, gigantic statues, and even a tour area that is free and fun for kids and adults. You can buy any color of m&m's you can think of. There are clear bags that you fill and I think you're charged by the pound. The store has tons of cute clothes, gifts, and a large clearance section. I spent hours here and even stopped again before I went home because I enjoyed it so much the first time. Kids will love to see the giant M&M's and the rainbow wall of M&Ms. There are usually crowds but the place is very big.

The Eiffel Tower | kids travel, kids activities
The Eiffel Tower
Las Vegas,
Nevada
"Amazing Views!"
I went to the top of the Eiffel Tower with my parents. Other than the amounts of people that go at once, it was a lot of fun! The ride up was a little crammed. It takes a few minutes to get to the top. Once you get there, you can see all of Las Vegas. You can get a lot of great photos of the Las Vegas Strip and it is similar to the Space Needle. It's not as big as the Space Needle, but it is still fun. I think we were up there for about 20 minutes. Afterwards we got to take a photo with an Eiffel Tower background as a keepsake.
