About Me & My Family

As a military family, we have had an opportunity to live in a number of places. Some we even get to go back to, as is the case with Hawaii. We have found that there are lots of fun family things to do in Hawaii that do not cost a ton of money. We really enjoy hiking and being near the water.

"One of our favorite snorkel spots"
Hanauma Bay offers some of the best snorkeling on Oahu in a sheltered bay. Small children will love to play on the sand near the water's edge while the more adventurous bigger kids head out to see a rainbow of fish and maybe even sea turtles. If you want to go back within a year, be sure to put your name down after watching the video.

"Learn about Lake Champlain"
Fishes, turtles, birds...oh my! Traveling exhibits are a great way to start your tour downstairs at ECHO. There's always something new at ECHO. The exhibits upstairs focus on Lake Champlain and the animals, birds & fish that call the basin home. Knowledgeable docents and hands on exhibits make for a great learning experience for children of all ages.
