This in a great rainy day idea for the kids! This is the cutest little house transformed into a wonderful puppet theater. My kids loved the show and of course the cookies you can purchase! The playground outside was a big hit! This is a must try!! Tip...leave extra time for parking. Theater it is located within a neighborhood and has no onsite parking available.

I have been here several times with the kids and each time it has been a great time...rain or shine! Wonderful store, great rope and corn maze and cute decorations to put you in the Halloween mood. Check out the pumpkins sling-shot activity...you have to try!! On my top of the list for Halloween events!

This is a must visit shop when visiting Seattle. The store has been around for 100 years and it is an icon for all kids! The best novelty, tourist trap EVER! See the mummies, shrunken heads, and the two headed calf. Yes this is for real but not alive!! Fun for all ages! My daughter always buys the Mexican jumping beans when they have them:)

If you are looking for a great day at a zoo and you are in the Tacoma area do not miss the Point Defiance Zoo. Great exhibits...our favorites are the Budgies, Elephants and Shark tank! The new kids play area is wonderful. My kids would just be happy there for hours!!! Tip....if the lines are long look for the computerized ticket stations!
