Perhaps a little too unique. Flavors range from Salt & Pepper, Saffron + Golden Beets, to Secret Breakfast (bourbon + corn flakes). The ice cream is a little too soft for our taste - it's very rich but just too 'melty.'
The quality is also a little inconsistent - the saffron+golden beets was more icy than creamy.
Nice space - seating outside and inside. Friendly folks serving up ice cream. Flavors can get a little weird - so may not be for everyone

Franklin Square Park

"Nice playground in a nice new park"
New park (think they opened this year in 2009). Spacious playground with new jungle gym and squishy floor/ground. Chairs and tables for your stuff and for the adults to rest. Usually easy parking right on 17th.
There is a mix of ages of kids - 2 yr old to 8 yr old running around. There are two section - one for little kids and one for larger kids. It's also on top of a little hill, so very nice open, not stuff. ANd it's in the Mission, so usually pretty good weather.
The playground is fenced off - but there could be some homeless folks roaming on the grass around franklin square.

"Good Sushi - crowded space"
Dinner was good - big pieces of fresh fish for the nigiri. The tempura and agedeshi tofu was fresh and hot.
However, we were there with 2 year old and 3 month old in stroller - was a little tight to situate the 4 of us around a table of 4. They did have high chair for 2 year old.
It's a crowded place, very noisy. We also went on an unseasonably warm night in SF - and the space got very warm.
Service was good and very fast. We were in and out in less than an hour.

Silverado Resort
1600 Atlas Peak Rd,
Napa, California
"Nice get away for the weekend"
We stayed in a one bedroom suite - with a full kitchen and big fridge. Very spacious and comfortable, with our own little porch.
The resort has a lot of space for little ones to run around - also three nice pools for splashing and swimming. There are also tennis courts and golf course for the parents too.
Service was accommodating - we asked for a different suite because of some noise and they found one and within 10 minutes the concierge came and took everything for us over.
Convenient from SF (1.5 hrs away) and lots of things to do. A good rest point for a Napa Weekend.

Randall Museum
199 Museum Way,
San Francisco,
California 94114
Cute little museum for kids and it's free! Great place to spend 1-2 hours to keep toddlers/preschoolers entertained. Beware though if you're allergic to bees and they have a bee hive/honey comb so there are bees flying around. Situated on top of a hill with a great view of the city. Pack a picnic/snack and enjoy the view on a nice clear day.
