The buffet is pretty good, but you can't get into the place just to play. You HAVE to buy the buffet. Chuck E Cheese at least lets you in and doesn't have a 'cover charge' like Incredible Johns does.
The rides are all swiped for payment - you buy a card and load it with money and the kids just swipe the card at each game. There are rides too.
Each game takes a minimum of 2 "tokens" or 50 cents, with most taking more. And the rides are like $3-$5 each for a short ride.
If money is no object, then this place is great. If you have a larger family like I do, you will go once and say you will go to Chuck E Cheese from now on.
Excellent museum. Tons of hands on. Supposedly one of the biggest and best railroad museums in the country. Whenever we have friends and family from out of state, they always want to go here and they are never disappointed. It can get quite busy, but just take your time and don't be in a hurry.
