special occasion "songs" sung by more than enthusiastic employees is such a treat!

CONS
don't expect more than typical diner food...wouldn't say it's delicious or that I go to Farrell's for the food...definitely more of an experience and for the ice cream!

as far as I know - they do "kids eat free" M-TH from noon to 4:00 I believe...I would call to confirm...but that always is a treat in itself!

can't say i've actually been there - although we do use their online service to sell our used books! what a great concept and an easy transaction! haven't been able to find even a local store that compares!

you type in the BIN - the site determines the value - they send you a prepaid postage stamp, mail your box of books to them and wait for your paypal money to show up (or you can opt to get store credit - which actually gives more dollar value than cash)! great service!

if you have the hankering for japanese ramen - this has to be one of your stops! the spicy pork ramen is my fav! the kids get plain ramen (without the seaweed & vegetables) + a side of tonkatsu. Their japanese fried rice is delish! curry is also a favorite! the service is great! there can be a wait on the weekends. haven't been able to find another ramen shop without going in to Little Tokyo that compares! yum-o!

honestly - you can imagine you are in another country when looking out over the vast grounds of the safari park! it is gorgeous! the flora is unbelievable! if you're not so interested in the animals - but are interested in native landscaping - this would make you happy!

the animal habitats are awesome too! the safari tour is a must! great picnic areas as well!

they have an overnight package (snore & roar) where you can sleep in the park and hear the nighttime voices of the lions and wake to the calls of the birds - but haven't done that yet. definitely on our to do list!

loved loved loved this when the kids were little! the beach areas were so much fun for the children! they would spend hours playing in the sand and wade pools as toddlers and I sat in the adirondak chairs enjoying the sun! definitely worth the admission on those hot steamy summer afternoons!
