"Educational Fun!"
The Natural Science Center is a great way to combine an educational experience with a fun day at a museum. They have great exhibits on dinosaurs, fish and more. But what my kids love best is the ourdoor zoo area. There are tons of animals to look at, including two peacocks that walk around and display their beautiful feathers for everyone. The Natural Science Center also has lots of fun one day events, including their ever popular annual Bunny Day. Kids flock to pet and learn about rabbits. Come early because it gets crowded! It's a fun place to play and learn! Sometimes we pack a picnic lunch and take it to the within walking distance Country Park.

"Great park!"
If you're looking for a great way to spend a day in Salisbury, NC, look no further than Dan Nicholas Park. This park has a great playground, carousel, train, splash pad, petting zoo, gem mine and more! Each activity is reasonably priced, as are their concession stands. The playground has equipment for all ages and it's separated so the little kids can safety play. In all, it's a great place to play!
